From humanitarian missions to environmental clean-up projects, youth programs, Rotary initiatives, and global humanitarian grants, Bricia’s dedication to helping others is truly inspiring. Her work has brought hope, healing, and opportunity to countless families and communities around the world.
What makes her so special is not only what she does, but the heart behind it all. She leads with kindness, humility, grace, and a genuine love for people. In a world that needs more compassion, Bricia continues to be a shining example of what “Service Above Self” truly means.
One of the most inspiring parts of Dr. Bricia Elawar’s humanitarian work has been her extraordinary leadership in protecting and restoring our environment through the “United We Clean the Rio Grande / Río Bravo” and Colorado River cleanup initiatives.
What began as a vision during the pandemic has grown into a powerful binational movement, bringing together Rotary clubs, students, community leaders, government agencies, volunteers, businesses, and families from both the United States and Mexico — all united for one purpose: protecting our rivers and our planet.
Through her leadership, she has built bridges between communities, cultures, and countries, truly helping to “Create Lasting Impact” through collaboration, compassion, and service.
