In partnership with Monarchs Without Borders, The Alluvium Project will help fund tree nurseries and habitat restoration programs supporting monarch butterfly migration corridors across Mexico.

  • Support ecological education

Ice in a Box Initiative

A solar-powered desalination and ice-production system designed to support small fishing villages.

Objectives

  • Provide sustainable ice production
  • Reduce spoilage and economic losses
  • Improve seafood quality and market access
  • Increase climate resilience in coastal communities

Strategic Alignment

The initiative complements marine sustainability work supported by Comepesca and aligns with sustainable seafood and coastal resilience goals.

River Restoration Partnerships

The Alluvium Project will collaborate with:

  • Tijuana River environmental organizations
  • Rotary environmental initiatives
  • Municipal governments
  • NGOs focused on watershed restoration

The project aims to create an integrated network of cleanup, recycling, education, and restoration efforts throughout Baja California and Northern Mexico.
